Not trustworthy dealing with small jobs
I have a pin that connects the watch buckle to the bracelet fell off my Swiss Army watch. The Menlo Clock Works watch repair man first told me that the buckle broke and he has to order replacement which I quickly pointed out to him that was not the case and it was merely a missing pin. He then tried to tell me that he had to send the watch in for repair because of some special parts. I casted some doubts and left the shop. Later I took it to the Sears store watch repair desk in the Mountainview San Antonio center. The repair man there took 10 minutes to replace the pin while I waited. The cost was $6.

Complete Lack of Attention to Detail
I took my Seiko Automatic Diver & my Timex 1854 to have a wristband pin replaced in each. First: The band and the shoulder on the Timex were loose when the watch was returned - The wrong pin had been installed. Second (i.e., after I sent the Timex back to have the correct pin installed): The pin popped-out as I was leaving and I had to return to have it installed correctly. Third: Both watches were returned to me filthy - Both watches had been manhandled but not wiped clean afterwards. I won't be returning. P.S. I'll be taking my watches to the watchmaker at Macy's Union Square, in San Francisco. Excellent service: courteous, and professional! Read more at maps.google.com Recommended: Yes
